Biggest mistake of my life! I had my perfect-looks-make-new tub "professionally" resurfaced (colour change from greenish to white) by a supposedly top notch company. Never again. The tub began peeling. They redid it and now I accept peeling over again (and NO WARRANTY) along with some lumps/large pieces of grit (they didn't thoroughly wipe downwardly before repainting). I don't even utilize the tub ... just rinse & grit information technology when needed. What a waste. Also, you cannot put any skid mats or stickers on the tub bottom because it will peel the pigment. IMO we would've been better off only replacing the tub.

There is a fiberglass complete new bathtub that inserts over the existing tub. It is done past professionals and is very quick.

Really? Well I'm happy it worked for you. I've never scraped it, but sprayed cleaner and wiped. I just retrieve they used a lower grade of paint. Why they painted information technology a light shade of pink in a nice beige and white bathroom is beyond me🙄

That is the only affair I have constitute that will whiten the non-slip oval things in the bottom of the tub. The tub has been refinished twice now afterwards a fire. I should have insisted on a new tub!!! However, I was happy to learn about Mr. Clean Magic Erasers! Takes some elbow grease, but works better than bleach!
